Cary Paul Kite and Anna Dunan met and married in St. Mary's, Ohio in 1917. The Kite family has roots in America that date back to 1745 in the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia. In 1805 Kite family decendants settled in the Champaign Co. area of Ohio. These farmers belonged to the Myrtle Tree Baptist Church.
